A team of American urologists came to Maputo, Mozambique to teach the only three urologists in the entire country how to conduct life-saving surgeries.

Mozambique sees a significant number of its population suffer from severe and life-threatening bladder and urology conditions. Although these conditions are easily treated in Western countries, Mozambique's few urologists have never been trained on how to conduct such surgeries.

This is the American team performing the first surgeries of this kind in Mozambique, to ultimately hand over the knowledge to the Mozambican urologists
